Hello everyone.

Today after a system upgrade, my system font rendering system broke
with Japanese character (they looks very ugly), so I have to configure
it again. After googling + testing for a while, I realized that there
are many ways to have a nice looking Linux DE, and of course I can't
try all of them by myself. So I want to ask everyone about your fonts
configuration:

- Hinting system: which version of FreeType are you using? Do you use
TrueType patch for FreeType so it can use hinting information (BCI) in
.ttf fonts?

- Which fonts are you using? And your AA/ subpixel rendering setting?

- Other configuration like which fonts for CJK characters? (I am using
Droid Sans Fallback, because only with it I can get decent AA +
hinting). Or disable hinting for specific fonts size, replacing font
families etc...

If you don't have any customized configuration and just use the stock
setting, then at least can you tell me what is your font for Japanese
characters? I am still trying to get a decent looking for them in
terminal here (on an LCD) :D

Thank you for reading this!
