Right! Mailman also store messages (malling-list archives...) inside. So, it could be better to have seperate server to handle that.
BTW, in traditional system, we should configure at least two SMTP instance (Postfix in this case): (i) one for email gateway; (ii) other to handle internal messages that belong to domain (eg: abc.com.vn).
