Hi, Ubuntu customization kit (UCK) "is a tool that helps you customizing official Ubuntu Live CDs (including Kubuntu/Xubuntu and Edubuntu) to your needs. You can add any package to the live system, for example language packs, or applications."
http://uck.sourceforge.net/ I have used it to produce an Ubuntu 9.04 live CD Desktop which starts with Vietnamese as default menu and, if you chose Vietnamese as language (F2), would log you to a Gnome Desktop fully Vietnamized, not the one with still a lot of English terms that you get when using the classic live CD. If you activate the input of complex characters (System > Administration > language support) you'll get the ability to type Vietnamese text (and other languages as well). UCK is quite easy to use now, compared to the previous versions I'd used, especially as it is in the Ubuntu repositories and you can install it through Add/remove and/or Synaptic (at least for 9.04 jaunty jackalope). Now you can easily produce your own customized live CD Ubuntu, in your own language, for distribution to your family members and friends. Once installed, using it is very straightforward. You only need to have the original Ubuntu live CD iso file. Ch?o c?c anh ch?, T?i ?? d?ng c?ng c?
