An IDE plugin for automatical spell-checking, maybe ;) And that plugin *must* be able to identify variables, constants, class names... The whole problem is not so hard, but the question is vague (not sure it's the same term in English :D). Do we need theory , tool or "real" tool ? BTW, in any case, there is already a valid reponse (I think): paper, sed or Annotation-I-don't-know-what. Make a plugin for one's own favorite IDE is not so hard. But unlike the author of the suggested ACM paper, I don't think it's useful.
