Hi everyone out there needing to input Vietnamese -

I'm doing a (free) Vietnamese input keyboard (just a hobby, won't be
big and professional like Unikey) for Android phones called Sophia.
This has been brewing since March, and is starting to get some
traction a lot of active users (1000 or so after a month).

It's a fast Vietnamese input method where one would not have to input
tone marks -- inputting tone marks is a pain in the ass for mixed
English-Vietnamese input. It is quite intelligent and can predict
words better than any of the existing keyboards.

I think it would be best if I would release the software as open
source. The published source includes all the modifications that I
have made from the Android stock keyboard, as well as a some quick and
dirty programs in a toolkit I wrote for analyzing unigrams and bigrams
for linguistic research. Probably useful if you need to have
predictive input on your website too.

Everything should be sufficient for you to build it for yourself. I'd
like any feedback on things people like/dislike about this project,
and of course bugfixes are welcome.

PS: If you have an andoid 4.0+ you can try it here:
