Hi what are the differences between variables and sample fetches? Some values can be retrieved using both. For example the src IP address can be retrieved using both `%ci` as well as `%[src]`.
One difference I noticed is that I don't think I am able to use converters (e.g. ipmask) for variables (e.g. %ci). Are there any other differences? Best regards Tim Düsterhus
