In TCP mode, HAProxy can do content aware routing and stickiness based
on the information available at Layer 4
(http://cbonte.github.io/haproxy-dconv/1.8/configuration.html#7.3.3) and
Layer 5
(http://cbonte.github.io/haproxy-dconv/1.8/configuration.html#7.3.4).
If this is not sufficient and you need to look into the custom protocol,
using LUA scripts may be useful here.
