I have absolutely no idea what is uninitialized there, as the line
in question contains a call to  luaL_openlibs(gL.T) after gL.T has
been created by lua_newstate(). Thus it could even be possible that
it's something internal to Lua itself. In any case this part hasn't
changed for a while so if there's an issue there it's not new and
we should not delay 2.0 just for this.

Not yet, it still deserves some analysis I think before knowing if
we can safely ignore it.
