Most likely you're not running haproxy as root, and your user is limited to 1024 file descriptors, reason why haproxy failed to bump the limit. Please run "ulimit -n" in your shell. I'm pretty sure you'll see 1024 here. If you're not root, you need the root user to adjust it for you in some shell script run at the session opening (I don't remember where that's done on OpenBSD, sorry). When starting as root, you don't have to worry about that, as haproxy does it for you. Regards, Willy
