Hi
haproxy use syslog,
so you should go and check your syslog on the server where haproxy is
running.

using debian squeeze here.
I installed haproxy through aptitude.
Executing "/etc/init.d/haproxy start" doesn't starts haproxy process
and I can't see a log anywhere.
Where is the log? What can be happening?
