Good morning,

I have been handed a system running HAProxy 1.3.22 on CentOS kernel 2.6.18.

It is a small system at this point, only two webservers (both Centos
running apache). We use the system to upload video files.

Here is the behavior that I am seeing when HAProxy is running. User
authenticates fine but when trying to upload a video it either completely
error's out each time or, at best, is very spotty.

What I saw in the messages log is that a request from a given external IP
was flipping back and forth between the two web servers.

All timers under the default section are set to 1800000 - or 30 minutes I
believe.

Here a two sections of the config file.

defaults
        log global
        option httplog
        option dontlognull
        retries 3
        option redispatch
        maxconn 10000
        contimeout 1800000
        clitimeout 1800000
        srvtimeout 1800000

listen vrwebfarm xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80
        mode http
        balance roundrobin
        cookie SERVERID insert indirect nocache
        option forwardfor
        option httpchk HEAD /srvhealth.txt HTTP/1.0
        server web1.myserver.com xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 cookie webfarm_web1 check
        server web2.myserver.com xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:80 cookie webfarm_web2 check

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.
