On the site, here's what is indicated : Branch Last version Released Notes 1.3 1.3.26 2011/08/05 Critical fixes only "Critical fixes only" basically means that there will be no more update unless something really critical is discovered and needs to be fixed. For instance, if a bug was found in the cookie parser causing it to be remotely crashable, there would immediately be a fix. BTW, version 1.3.26 fixed an important number of bugs from the version you're using. That said, there is nothing wrong with keeping 1.3 where you have deployed it. It works well, and is rock solid. However for new deployments, you'd better consider 1.4. 1.4 has gained a high level of stability now and is the most deployed version (probably I'll be laughed at in one year after 3-4 new versions for saying this). Some distros package it and perform quick updates. If you look at the latest fixes in 1.4.21, most of the issues fixed there have been present for a very long time, some since version 1.2 ! So if you need an advice, plan to upgrade to 1.4, but there is no need for any rush doing it this year is fine. Regards, Willy
