I would add that a number of people do use 1.5 in production, but they
closely follow the list to be aware of issues and are able to quickly
rebuild and deploy. Also, these people generally wait for changes to
settle a bit after a new dev release because they don't want to risk
their production on stupid bugs.
Good general advice. The dev7 version had been out for a while before I
upgraded. As for what Baptiste said, I am not using SSL. Version 1.4
would work for me as far as features. I can no longer remember what
prompted me to go with a 1.5 dev version, but it had to be something
specific.
If this discussion continues much further, it'll need a new thread on
the mailing list. I didn't mean to get this far off topic, I foolishly
thought it would be a quick thing.
