closely follow the list to be aware of issues and are able to quickly

Good general advice. The dev7 version had been out for a while before I upgraded. As for what Baptiste said, I am not using SSL. Version 1.4 would work for me as far as features. I can no longer remember what prompted me to go with a 1.5 dev version, but it had to be something specific.

If this discussion continues much further, it'll need a new thread on the mailing list. I didn't mean to get this far off topic, I foolishly thought it would be a quick thing.
