Hi,

I'm running haproxy-dev18 with patch 0001 to fix the tcp-request set-header stuff, and I get a lot of "SD--" messages in my syslog. When browsing websites behind haproxy random url do not get loaded. So, sometimes stylesheets or javascripts don't get loaded and sometimes the whole page doesn't even load.

While debugging this it seems to be a problem with the "splice-auto" option. I use kernel 3.2.40 with grsec patch and tested with haproxy dev18 and dev17-ss-20130125 and both seem to behave this way.

Just a bit of syslog:

Apr 5 09:14:25 localhost haproxy[8654]: 2001:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:37347 [05/Apr/2013:09:14:24.585] cluster1 cluster1-2/web8 1010/0/0/19/1047 200 68345 - - SD-- 750/481/10/5/0 0/0 {hostname.com|Mozilla/5.0 (X11||http://hostname.com/nl/} {} "GET /media/system/js/mootools-more.js HTTP/1.1" Apr 5 09:14:27 localhost haproxy[8654]: 2001:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:37344 [05/Apr/2013:09:14:27.739] cluster1 cluster1-2/web7 2/0/0/8/10 200 33994 - - SD-- 737/466/17/6/0 0/0 {hostname.com|Mozilla/5.0 (X11||http://hostname.com/nl/} {} "GET /templates/somtemplate/js/jquery.min.js HTTP/1.1" Apr 5 09:14:28 localhost haproxy[8654]: X.X.X.X:16284 [05/Apr/2013:09:14:27.870] cluster1 cluster1-2/web7 141/0/1/8/161 200 68345 - - SD-- 745/471/8/3/0 0/0 {other.host.nl|Mozilla/4.0 (com||http://other.host.nl/} {} "GET /media/system/js/mootools-more.js HTTP/1.1" Apr 5 09:14:30 localhost haproxy[8654]: 2001:X:X:X:X:X:X:X:37332 [05/Apr/2013:09:14:28.986] cluster1 cluster1-2/web8 1840/0/1/19/1872 200 68345 - - SD-- 756/473/12/10/0 0/0 {hostname.com|Mozilla/5.0 (X11||http://hostname.com/nl/} {} "GET /media/system/js/mootools-more.js HTTP/1.1"

When I disable splice-auto these messages stop appearing and everything works normal again. I can reproduce this the best with Google Chrome and websites hosted on our nginx cluster. Though, I suspect it also happens on our apache cluster and with other browsers.

Is this a known issue?

Greets,

Sander
