Hi Dave, we use haproxy for cloud loadbalancer and we generate the whole config upon changes in the cloud configuration and reload haproxy with the new config. We generate the configuration files with a templating mechanism. Reloading happens many times daily, and this is a production environment. This setup works like a charm.
