Could you check with your provider what method their customers chose usually ? It's very possible that they're distributing a kernel patch for a number of OSes, or that they're relying on someone else's patch. For example I remember an old patch from Huawei to do something a bit related for LVS. Possibly some code exists somewhere otherwise they wouldn't be proposing this option. Willy
