Hello,
        I am doing some experimenting with HAproxy an balancing one of our mail
servers. I was wondering if there is any way to have HAproxy do a reverse DNS
as the mail log always shows the client ip as the server in which HAproxy is
installed and not the IP of the client were the mail message originated for
example here is a couple lines out of the log:

Oct 22 14:25:45 mail1 postfix/smtpd[3855]: C27D962E09:
client=unknown[1.23.456.789]- this is the ip of the HAproxy server and not the
actual client

Oct 22 14:25:46 mail1 postfix/cleanup[3861]: C27D962E09: message-id=<>

Oct 22 14:25:46 mail1 postfix/qmgr[3494]: C27D962E09:
from=<[email protected]>, size=2205, nrcpt=1 (queue active)

Oct 22 14:25:46 mail1 postfix/smtpd[3855]: disconnect from
unknown[1.23.456.789] — this should reflect the client IP but shows the IP of
the HAproxy server.

thanks,
Jon
