A search on the net shows that I'm not the only one who has this problem. This is something that the load balancer is supposed to be doing. it is very surprising that HaProxy does not do that. This has forced people to come up with creative solutions involving Nginx and HaProxy together or just Nginx altogether to overcome this deficiency
