That's perfect, I've just applied your whole series. Thanks for polishing it that fast :-) For those interested, having tested it I can say it works remarkably well, and fills the gap between consistent hashing and static hashing in that the main criticism against consistent hashing often is its poor balancing characteristics. Here it can smoothly pick another server to maintain the balancing, I expect good results on large content caches (eg: video). Cheers, Willy
