It will have an impact of course; but TCP forwarding is *very* cheap and
with tcp splicing we can even offload it to the kernel, so unless we are
talking about very high loads, this is probably neglectable.
The more complex configuration in this case would be more concerning to
me than the performance overhead.
2. Emmanuel Hocdet <[email protected]> add a patch in version 1.8dev0 to
manage such case... I'll test Emmanuel solution
Of course my suggestion is only a workaround for the missing
functionality. Addressing the use-case via a properly designed feature
is indeed the right way :)
