That's really odd, what is crashing is the shctx_init(), which is the
initialization of the shared memory used by the SSL, it didn't changed
much in 2 years so I'm surprised that you didn't have this problem with
haproxy 2.0.

Since its running on SPARC and that the Bus Error appears in the the
shctx block access that could be an alignment issue.
But if it's working on your test server it might be something
else. Do the test server and the production one share the same hardware?
(CPU, RAM etc.)

Could you display the stacktrace with gdb? The arguments looks weird to
me, (too much arguments and weird values) and I don't know how reliable
is pstack about this.

Did you try to build haproxy 2.0 with your new compiler and do the same
tests? Do you have the same issue?
