I have a left off broken haproxy repo which comes up everytim I’m doing

Reading package lists... Done
E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/vbernat/haproxy-1.6/ubuntu bionic
Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore
disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration
details.

Any clues how I can get rid of this?

Well 1.6 is end of life.

https://www.haproxy.org/

You should replace haproxy-1.6 with 2.4, IMHO.
https://haproxy.debian.net/#?distribution=Ubuntu&release=bionic&version=2.4

How to handle ppa can be searched in the Internet, here a example page from the
internet search.
