That looks interesting.  I'll need to investigate.

But I really would like such a proxy to handle SSL and HTTP like haproxy 
does, so that it can manipulate those things, and I think that a TCP 
proxy can't really do that.  This might still have some value, thank you 
for pointing me at it.
