You're free to discuss anything :-) I was mostly speaking about improvements, and I'm a firm believer in "merge early, improve later" which allows users to benefit from new features early and us to focus on what really matters (i.e. no need to optimize issues that nobody faces). So in my opinion the current design is fine for a first merge.
