Actually, I think you mean alt-F7 if you're talking about if you're talking
about switching from a virtual console back to X on most Linux distros. Or,
alt-F2 if one is running Slackware, alt-F8 on FreeBSD, and I'm sure there
are other variations.
OMG what was I smoking? yes, alt-F7. And that works in my Slackware and
Zenwalk. I tried other distros and don't remember of any of them with a
different command. But my experience with other distros is in no way
significant. Thanks, and sorry for the wrong advice given!
