I ussually compile using the same(kind off) old batch method.
It is almost the way i did in the past. It may not be the most ordered way, but is the only way i wont get messed up.

Regards and the best of luck.

Explanation:

I declare the environment variables on the batch file (path, include, etc)

   set pathharb=d:\programa\comps\xharbour121\bin\b32
   set incsharb=d:\programa\comps\xharbour121\include
   set libharb=d:\programa\comps\xharbour121\lib\b32
   set libbc32=d:\programa\comps\BCC55\lib
   set incbc32=d:\programa\comps\BCC55\include
   set
   path=%path%;d:\programa\comps\BCC55\bin;d:\programa\comps\xharbour121\bin\b32

Then fill with precompiling lines.

   %pathharb%\harbour menu.prg -n -m -i%incsharb% %2 %3 %harb_BCFLAGS%
   %pathharb%\harbour funcs.prg -n -m -i%incsharb% %2 %3 %harb_BCFLAGS%

And to the end the C++ compile

   bcc32 -O2 -d %CFLAGS% -I%incsharb%;%incbc32%;%incmwvw%
   -L%libharb%;%libbc32%;%libmwvw% menu.c funcs.c lang.lib vm.lib
   rtl.lib rdd.lib macro.lib pp.lib dbfcdx.lib dbfntx.lib dbffpt.lib
   common.lib libpdf.lib gtwvw.lib gtwin.lib codepage.lib ct.lib
   tip.lib pcrepos.lib hsx.lib hbsix.lib zlib.lib

   del *.c
   del *.obj
   del *.tds
   del *.bak
   move menu.exe terminado\menu.exe

Hi,

I downloaded the Harbour Projet to help me resolve a bug with a
program that was originaly compile in 94’s with Clipper 5 and new PC that are
to fast for the code.
I was able to decompile the original application with Valkyrie software. I’m
able to recompile the application but I’m missing some library that render the
new version useless with a RDD(0) error.

After reading what Harbour offer, I’m trying to recompile the salvage code with
it but I need a kind of Walktrought to help do that.
I’m working on a Windows XP-Prof. with Visual Studio 2005 install on it. Its
been 15 years since I touch Clipper 5 and I was working elsewhere, so I’m a bit
rustee.
I currently support old Foxpro 2.6 dos/win on this workstation with that on a
Novell 3.12 server.

I’ve install the harbour beta2.0 on my drive d:

Thank’s and sorry for my poor English
