Harbour is not yet final. If we want to turn this
personal too: I had to rewrite my screen handling GT
(in C) 3 times, that's how it goes.
The problem is that my prev change broke existing
apps, so compatibility got hurt. Compatibility is
first, then comes new features. You need to understand
that, especially if you use daily builds.
I'd suggest that instead of complaining and rising
the personal aspect, please suggest some generic
and constructive solution to this problem. I took
the time to make mine, you didn't bother to comment.

Addition: It could also easily break any previous
Clipper/Harbour apps trying to use '--' switches,
so this way it was very much a showstopper.
Also the contrary is true. I've used things like --gtstd in many
scripts and run commands inside prg apps.
Now for me is quite complicated to go back to // so I've restored
previous code for my local Harbour.
This is why I said that this kind of things have to be announced and
discussed carefully when they are introduced and when they are
removed.
Adding it one year ago it was only "aesthetic", removing today
breaks apps.
