Hi Pritpal,
Can you verify on your system?
It is dependant on font used.
wvtext.prg as is now in SVN gives 100% correct display on 1280x800 XP
montitor.
Notice that with wvtext.prg it's not possible to
see the artifact I'm experiencing with my app, as
wvtext doesn't have any text in the border (right)
columns, so you won't notice it being snapped.
BTW, if I keep pressing <F3> in wvtext, the screen
gets smaller and smaller, while leaving a not-so-good
looking trash after itself. It seems it doesn't update
the underlying screen area, but the bigger problem
is that it changes window size at all. I think it's
should leave it intact, after all it should just
toggle the feature on/off.
Courier New 100%
Lucida Console 100%
Ariel 100%
Times New Roman - Does not scale properly.
Terminal Too much rigid, do not scales to maxamize
Which font you are using?
The Harbour default, "Courier New".
By 100% I mean full window with all 4 borders are 0,0,0,0 to Desktop.
I'm not expecting full screen to cover my whole
screen, as it's not likely anyway because of the
fixed proportions of the fonts. My only goal was
to align the window borders with the content without
leaving gaps and without snapping it.
I'm on 1280x1024, XP "classic" theme, Taskbar on
the right side of the screen.
Brgds,
Viktor
