Hi Ed,
hbole was the first incarnation of OLE support,
which was later extended by the xhb team into
the version what is today in hbw32. The extended
version however uses some VM hacks (messing with
internals) and a few other unclean programming
tricks. Many of these were cleaned, but the more
complicated ones are still in the code, waiting
to be fixed.
Since there were/are some concerns regarding these,
we kept hbole for the time being as an alternative,
clean implementation.
I hope Mindaugas will help us out with some of
his local patches for hbole, maybe it solve this
specific problem too. But of course anyone else
is welcome to address these as well.
Brgds,
Viktor

Thanks Viktor. Just curious - What's the difference between hbole
and hbw32.
Thanks again,
Ed
