AFAIR MSys in windows had only /bin/sh as bash without /bin/bash
and it was one of the reason I stop using #!/bin/bash directly.
Can some check if current MSys versions have /bin/bash by default?
Nope in msys 1.0.
To be more precise:
Nope in msys 1.0.9
Nope in msys 1.0.10 (current stable)
Maybe in msys 1.0.11
(technology preview, currently a pack of .bz2 file,
not a coherent install, and there is a separate bash package,
to add to the confusion, the bash package contains bash.exe
and sh.exe, and they are completely identical, and internally
is seems to show up as 'bash'.)
Sometimes the open source world can be more than confusing.
