With both TRUE almost every font can used even if proportional and also under xfs based distro like Centos 5.2. Clearly not all are good, but now there are choices. On a LAN I don't see speed problems. I've moved back to 1.0.1 since 1.1 is still under heavy development so I can't use new HB_GTI_FONTSEL but "rgstry-encdng" matters. An idea could be to use "xlsfonts" to find out the candidates but for the time being I'll hard code few "certified" configurations to avoid "mistakes" ( f.e. using the app from Mac's X11 via ssh -X the font that works under Linux may not work ). best regards, Lorenzo _______________________________________________ Harbour mailing list [email protected] http://lists.harbour-project.org/mailman/listinfo/harbour
