ok I think the problem is the SPACE

I had it as: set HB_INC_ADS=c:\Program Files\Extended
Systems\Advantage\ACESDK

changed ith to :

set HB_INC_ADS=c:\harbour\ACESDK   (of course I copied the ace file there)
and it works now. (still trying to make it create ace32.dll)
