This seems a different build than the recommended one, which is the MinGW build is showing: "This program built for i686-pc-mingw32".
This is supposed to work anyway. Even if renamed to gnumake.exe, but in this case make_gnu.bat will not pick it up so it should be started manually (and thus losing the services of make_gnu.bat). Probably easier to go the recommended way.
