msys is only needed to build Harbour from source. No need for it to *use* Harbour. [ well, except if you want to use hbmk scripts, but I didn't include these in this package for simplicity. ] To put it short: yes, it's correct. > Which package can be used for x stable version?: > mingw > mingw-w64 > http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=202880&package_id=241675<http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=202880&package_id=241675 > migw32ce> No, I used this one: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/mingw-w64/mingw-w64-bin_i686-mingw_20090110.zip?use_mirror=switch > migw32ce<http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=202880&package_id=241675 > migw32ce> > http://downloads.sourceforge.net/cegcc/cygwin-cegcc-mingw32ce-0.51.0-1.tar.gz?use_mirror=switch I don't know, but I've posted the link in one of my messages, in reply to Przemek AFAIR. Either this or there is another similar package with different CCPREFIX. You can compare with the one in my package. > msys 1.0.11 > http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=2435&package_id=24963 Not needed here, but for building Harbour this looks okay. > what about mingw automatic installer (can we made similar for harbour?) > > http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=2435&use_mirror=kent&filename=MinGW-5.1.4.exe&a=2687957 I don't plan to develop something like this. Unstandard and for me at least as irritating than classic Windows installers. Can save bandwidth, maybe that's the point of it. But 100-150MB install isn't such big these days, bandwidth isn't a problem if we use sf.net to host the file. Brgds, Viktor
