Probably automated tests are better to consistently and repeatably show such differences. Such tests are tests/rto_tb.prg and tests/rto_get.prg. The TB one only tests access/assign, but I would still wonder how xhb would perform in such test. It'd be good to have these tests extended with :rowPos tests (although I cannot spot any difference in current Harbour compared to Clipper.)
[ Quick xhb tests: rto_get.prg doesn't even compile, rto_tb.prg will show a huge amount of differences, and RTE if compiled in HB_COMPAT_C53 mode. ] Brgds, Viktor On Tue, Jun 2, 2009 at 6:59 PM, Enrico Maria Giordano <[email protected]> wrote: > > -----Messaggio Originale----- Da: "Xavi" <[email protected]> > A: "Harbour Project Main Developer List." <[email protected]> > Data invio: martedì 2 giugno 2009 17.52 > Oggetto: [Harbour] TBrowse rowPos test > > >> Please, EMG, Pritpal or anyone could test it with last >> xHarbour: I think that it does just the opposite. > > I just tried and found the same behavior using Clipper, Harbour and > xHarbour. > > EMG > > -- > EMAG Software Homepage: http://www.emagsoftware.it > The EMG's ZX-Spectrum Page: http://www.emagsoftware.it/spectrum > The Best of Spectrum Games: http://www.emagsoftware.it/tbosg > The EMG Music page: http://www.emagsoftware.it/emgmusic > _______________________________________________ > Harbour mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.harbour-project.org/mailman/listinfo/harbour > _______________________________________________ Harbour mailing list [email protected] http://lists.harbour-project.org/mailman/listinfo/harbour
