I've left a note in ChangeLog about it, actually this
was part of my goal, but wanted to let 'settle' recent
changes first.

IMO SLN, CRS, HBM detection code can now be deleted from
make_gnu.sh, plus some more flag setting. Also install
dir creation would be better moved. These can probably
be moved relatively easily. Next CPU detection could be
moved to Makefile.

The less logic we have in make_gnu.[bat|cmd|sh], the
better.
