Sorry, I favor step by step modifications in this case, since
there is a lot of steps and any of them can go wrong, and
I'd want to be able to step back.

in source/pp in *nix like shells.
I would like to ask you to group such modification in functional
peaces. Today I was trying to create some Harbour builds and commit
some modifications but after few hours of syncing with your
modifications
I had to gave up. I'll wait until SVN will be functional again.
