First let me thank all of you for getting us Harbour. Thank You.
I don't have to enumerate what effort, expertize & time that went into it to
make Harbour what it is now, it's all well known, and appreciated.

Thank you for you words.

I think & wish more attention would be given to make it run on WinCE. It would make Harbour a real real killer app. There aren't really any/ many development options for Wince to create compact fast database programs. It
looks like it's all there just needs some more greasing & tweaking.

Console mode needs some ajustments. and oh do I wish for hbQt for Gui.

It all depends on developers. I'm no WinCE user in any ways,
so everything done for WinCE is on pure theoretical ground.
To be ready for real life this isn't enough of course.

GTWVT should be tested by real WinCE users and fixes proposed,
I've also seen the slightly wrong display of chars, but it was
a screenshot only, so it wasn't an option to make any tweaks.

Now with recent Harbour it's very easy to create tests for WinCE
either by using binary distro or creating a WinCE build from source.

If you are interested in QT for WinCE, you can give it a shot
by installing required QT package and setting it up for Harbour,
I'm sure we can help if you have some questions along the way.
I'd be a great config addition. Theoretically speaking, current
hbqt source should compile as is for WinCE.

[ at first shot it looks you have to start with building QT
for WinCE from source using MSVC. ]

Brgds,
Viktor
