We have months landing Harbour with newer gcc: gcc404, gcc432, gcc433, gcc440 and now appear new packages "built with gcc 4.4.1" :-)
I am centered on tests with Harbour-gcc433 as reference release gcc441 does not appear as Paul Smedley or Netlabs releases, so some people are working recently on this port and they are in Japan http://ebisa.hp.infoseek.co.jp/os2/index.htm Some packages are very recent, as: 0.9.8l for kLIBC (gcc 4.4.1) : openssl-0.9.8l-klibc-20091108.zip # SDL 1.2.14 for OS/2 (built with gcc-4.4.1) * SDL-1.2.14-os2-gcc44-20091106.zip * fslib_r5-gcc44-20091104.zip * ... # SDL 1.2.13 for OS/2 (built with gcc-4.3.3) * SDL-1.2.13-os2-gcc433-20090506.zip * SDL-1.2.13-os2-gcc433-20090419.zip But doubts remain: file name say "gcc44" (4.4.0 ?) and docs say: ------------ Headers, libraries and config tool (sdl-config) are suitable for gcc 4.4.1. (It may also work with gcc 3.3.5 csd 3) [...] 2009-11-06 - Based on SDL-1.2.14 - Built with gcc 4.4.1 ------------ Anyway, we can wait some time and if new gcc version appear then we can test with Harbour David Macias _______________________________________________ Harbour mailing list [email protected] http://lists.harbour-project.org/mailman/listinfo/harbour
