Przemyslaw, I'm using Thread class from xpp compatibility layer, I see two things not compatible with xpp:
1) when code stops executing :active iVAR should be set back to .F. 2) :atStart and :atEnd code blocks/methods should be called even when executing the :Execute() method I don't know whether this is just a little incompatibility of Thread class which just needs some fixing or there are other issues.
