I have problems with client access (OS/2 accessing a share), my server is
samba, but on OpenSolaris.

I have eCS 2.0 silver, samba (eCS EVFS IFS) client does not handle locks and
file access rights at all!

So I have to use old IBM LanManager.

Did you made tests with record/file locks, and exclusive access to files?
