Now I know how it is happening, I can reproduce it.
It is caused by the action when mouse goes past the editing
boundaries while selection is under-way. If you release the mouse
when last letter - in case the above demo - "f" of func, and then move
it past the left edge, it will be ok.
Let me see how it can be fixed.
