Sure, QSL are personal documents.
But as time pass, they also become historical documents. QSL from 4VEH, 
Stimme der DDR, RIAS Berlin, Spanish Morocco, RTV Hong Kong, Radio Saigon, 
and Radio Peace and Progress all tell a story.
To me, that's a pretty good reason to save, and even collect, such personal 
items.
