Hello, I just returned (together with Max van Arnhem and Cornel van Ravenswaaj) from a quite successful DX-pedition to DX-183, Fjerritslev, Denmark. The TA-conditions however were very poor, although the A-index reached the level of 1 some day.
I heard a strange mixed signal of two Russian programmes on 1629 kHz. One of them is VoRussia. Has anybody an explanation about this phenomenon ? ---- Something else : On 675 kHz, there was quite strong DRM noise audible at times. The strange this was that it looks like this was only audible when NRK was not heard. Is anybody aware of the fact that NRK is doing DRM tests on 675 kHz ? This DRM noise prevented us from hearing Barrow, Alaska on 680 kHz. ---- More news and loggings follow abt our DNK-trip. 73, Guido. ---------------- Guido Schotmans - Antwerp, BELGIUM ------------------- RX: AOR AR 7030 - ANT: Wellbrook ALA 1530 outdoor active broadband loop Narrow FM Homepage http://go.to/narrowfm or http://dxing.hypermart.net ----------------------------------------------------------------------- ---[Start Commercial]--------------------- World Radio TV Handbook 2003 is out!
