I think they relayed in those cases the first national programme, which has daily "YLE news" at 15.55, i.e. 1255 UTC, as shown on http://www.yleradio1.fi/ohjelmatiedot/ohjelmatiedot.shtml?r1vko1

Thanks (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) > Sorry, I don't have a real answer to this question, but some remarks. I have YLE Radio Finland's printed schedule 26 Mar till 29 Oct in my hands (it even includes some information in English) and I suppose that these English broadcasts are excerpts of the service called YLE Mondo - the foreign language radio of YLE available here in the Helsinki area on FM and througout Finland as a radio channel in the digital TV system. Navigating www.yle.fi/radiofinland or www.ylemondo.fi might help or you may ask directly on rfinland at yle.fi. regards Risto -- Risto Vähäkainu koordinaattori Helsingin yliopisto Tietotekniikkaosasto/sovelluspalvelut p. 09-191 23133 mp. 050-529 2909 ---[Start Commercial]--------------------- World Radio TV Handbook 2006 is out.
