It might even be worth paying the station a visit!

I remember a logging I made of the Azores Islands when they were using 4865 
kHz. Two of us sent reports to the station, I got my QSL back but the other 
person - who actually phoned me to say they were being heard didn't. He had 
to grovel somewhat to get the station verified. They were on air to cover 
the Portuguese elections and from what I was told, it was the first time 
they had been heard in New Zealand during the evening.
