Russia, 5960, Radiostantsiya Okean Tikhiy, 0945-1000 Tuned in late, but signal
was
still fading in, so the result was beneficial. Noted a female in Russian
language
comments - probably news. At 0948 music is presented for a couple of minutes.
The final 10 minutes of the program consisted of news and a few comments
and some music until the hour when the final ID is given. Signal is at a good
level by the
time of closing at 1000. Immediately at 1000, China Radio International comes
up
in Spanish to occupy the frequency. (Chuck Bolland, December 14, 2007)

Peru, 6193.37, Radio Cuzco, (pres) 1047-1054 Only audible briefly, noted a
male in
Spanish comments at 1047 for a few moments. Comments were definitely Peurvian
in character and nuance. Unfortunately, the signal only lasted a minute or two
and
was threshold when readable. (Chuck Bolland, December 14, 2007)

Europahttp://actualidad.terra.es/sociedad/articulo/punto_radio_ue_europa_2121699.htm
-portugu?s, griego, b?lgaro, rumano y h?ngaro-.

A very good point, I hadn't thought of it that way, expanding what you said
a little further to include access to the internet.

Hello DXers,
I just received a QSL card confirming my reception of the
WCHX DX Test. I had a lot of trouble hearing that one because of WBBM in
Chicago on the same frequency. I started by using my directional loop but
switched to my long wire and nulled WBBM out and caught WCHX although very weak
with QRM from other stations.
