10 Jan 1600 UT noted Eritrea hopping between range
6180-6240 to avoid Ethiopian digital-ute-like jammer.
Same thing in the vicinity of 7175.

Last night, feeling boored and depressed, I opened up the radio in order to
change out my mind and came up into that:
"Venez ?coutez CHLN le nouvel FM parl? de la Mauricie au 106.9 FM", a loop
telling the listeners to change the QRG which was heard continuously on 550
AM...
That being said, my theory is that CKAC and CHRV 800 would be locals and all
the "FM parl?..." outlets will be satellite outlets of the Montreal's 98.5 FM
network. Maybe the 98.5 network, when this network would be completed, would be
able to carry on once again the famous, albeit dogmatic Doc Mailloux
psychological radioshow, who knows ?
May the good DX be with you !
Bogdan
Btw.: With this in mind, 550 Mundial YVKE, RJR Ralleigah Valley and the
adjacent Caribbean split ZIZ-555 will be much more easier catches for us in the
Montreal area...
