Bolivia, 3310, Radio Mosoj Chaski, 1000-1015 Noted a weak signal here for a few minutes until about 1005 when it started to fade in a little better. At that time a male in Spanish comments was heard until about 1009. The male "stepped aside" then for music which continued for a minute or two. At 1013, possible canned promos heard. Indonesia, 3976, RRI Pontianak,(pres) 1023-1035 Heard a female in Indonesian language comments. At 1027 a male joins in with comments briefly because music follows at 1028. Some ARO on the frequency temporarily cause interference to a weak signal. (Chuck Bolland, January 30, 2008) Bolivia, 4732, Radio Universitaria, 1048-1100 At tune in, noted music. At 1055 a male with canned comments/promos and ID. Canned ADs included. Signal was poor to fair and the CODAR didn't help much, "he said sarcastically". (Chuck Bolland, January 30, 2008) Peru, 4774.97, Radio Tarma, 1059-1105 At tune in, noted a live ID by a male as, "...Radio Tarma ...". This was followed with brief music. At 1101 a female talks. Another ID at 1102. Signal was poor with splatter. (Chuck Bolland, Janaury 30, 2008) Peru, 5039.17, Radio libertad, (pres),1107-1115 Noted a male in steady Spanish comments here. From content, the comments probably are the news which lasts until 1115. At that time music is presented. The signal faded from poor to fair and back again.
