Radio Dabanga

http://www.informarn.nl/news/noticiasdeholanda/act081128-semana49

Hi

Ref: Magna Database

I am thinking of deleting those three(3) buttons and fields that hold the
"Best time for Listening" times in the database. When I first created
those procedures, I didn't realize that each time I updated the database
files, the information in the "Best time for Listening" fields would be
erased and with the update and new data would need to be typed in?
There's no way I can modify the program so that this doesn't happen,
so I am thinking of deleting those buttons with the next update. What
do you think?

 I value your opinion.

Chuck

Germany (non), 6105, TransWorld Radio, 0847-0850, Noted a male in English
language Religious comments explaining "forgiveness of sins". At 0849, ID
an URL given as TransWorld Radio. This followed with a couple of notes
of music then dead air. Signal never returned after 0850, but was good
until then. (Chuck Bolland, November 29, 2008)

Ecuador, 6080, HCJB, 1040-1110 I sat on this freq listening to a female in
comments in the Quechua language. In between, a few tunes were presented in
the Spanish language. Unfortunately, there was no identifying phrases in
the
tunes. On the hour, station goes into news with possible ID threaded in all
of
the confusion heard because a second station suddenly starts broadcasting.
This is possibly Radio San Gabriel from Bolivia. Anyway, HCJB dominates
with a poor signal and at this point I can't seperate one from the other?
(Chuck Bolland, November 29, 2008)

Cuba, 15120, Radio Havana Cuba, 1130-1145 Noted a female in Spanish news
segment until 1135 at which time a long program dealing with Cuba and the
many
attractions there. Signal was poor at 1130, but faded in to a good level by
1145.
(Chuck Bolland, November 29, 2008)

Romania, 15150, Radio Romania International, 1141-1200 Noted a female in
French language comments. Every once in awhile, a quick ID as "Radio
Romania"
is given. At 1143 music. Signal was good. (Chuck Bolland, November 29,
2008)

Paulo,

There is NO connexion between R. Thailand and Okeechobee. This transmission is
direct from Udon Thani, Thailand. WYFR does however use 11855 at many other
times. Perhaps you read the wrong line when referring to Aoki? 73, Glenn

http://www.agenciaorbita.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4089&Itemid=29

Subsahariana, y m?s all?.

It seems the spanner is still there - this one of mine has taken FIVE DAYS
to return. But mails sent by Glenn Hauser (27th) and Dave Valko (28th) are
already in my in-box.

The reason could be that some mails sent to HCDX have not been forwarded, or
have been delayed somewhere. Today - the 23rd - I have received 30 (or more)
HCDX mails that are up to 9 days old, including this one from Jorge Freitas.
Hopefully someone has removed the spanner from the works.

9541.55 SIBC, Honiara. Reactivated here - hasn't been
traced on 5020v of late. BBC "World Today" relay 0600, followed by ID 0630
"This is the National Service of the Solomon Islands Broadcasting
Corporation.", followed by string of adverts in English. Local
reggae-flavoured song after that. Quite strong here, 29/11.
